The single ended and true differential balanced outputs allow you to take full advantage of connectivity to any preamplifier. The Moon LP 5.3 is housed in a custom-made, sturdy chassis with a 3/8” brushed and anodized aluminum front panel. This phono stage will work with any MM or MC cartridge. The Moon LP 5.3 Phono Stage comes with a large, isolated power supply on a separate circuit board with 2 stages of voltage regulation. This keeps noise away from the delicate signal path. It is extremely user adjustable: impedance loading (10, 100, 470, 1K and 47k ohms), capacitance loading (0, 100 and 470pF), gain settings (54, 60 and 66dB). NOTE: Add 6 dB of gain to these figures if using the balanced outputs. The Moon LP 5.3 comes with both balanced and single ended outputs, extremely short signal paths, an IEC for use with any upgraded power cord, and low operational temperatures for extended life.
