Send Wireless Audio Through Your House with the AudioEngine AW-1

The AudioEngine AW1 allows you to send wireless audio up to 100Ft away with excellent clarity and great sound! We found this nifty device in the back pages of Stereophile and the concept so intrigued us, we got a set in to listen to and we're in love! This is the easiest way we've found to send music wirelessly. 

The AW1 is so simple to use that we were able to get up and running almost immediately without reading the directions, one might even say "plug and play"! Supplied in every package is a pair of small wireless adapters (see main picture above), one is a transmitter and the other an identically sized receiver. Both devices can be used either via USB, via their standard 1/8" (3.5mm) jacks or via a combination of both for incredible flexibility.

Simply connect the transmitter to whatever device you want to send information from and the receiver to your amp!  The two units will automatically find each other and connect wirelessly, they even automatically jump wireless channels to stay away from other wireless devices!

The AW1 is also extremely flexible, with a ton of different uses.  One use might be to eliminate long cable runs to powered subwoofers, another might be to drive an amplifier in a second room, the possibilities are enormous.

Each AW1 kit comes with a small transmitter (about the size of a USB jump drive) and an identically sized receiver, a power supply, two pairs of Mini to Mini cables and a Mini to Female RCA cable.

For best sound quality and performance, we highly recommend upgrading the stock cables that come with the AW1.  For higher quality Mini to RCA cables, we have a few recommendations.

NOTE: The AW1 does not amplify either the incoming or outgoing signal.  In some audio systems there may be a slight reduction in signal amplitude, this is normal.  Simply crank up the volume on the receiving end to compensate.
