BLACK KIDS - PARTIE TRAUMATIC (LP)Black Kids Partie Traumatic On Vinyl LP The Black Kids hail from Jacksonville, Florida and are comprised of brother and sister Reggie and Ali Youngblood, Dawn Watley, Owen Holmes and Kevin Snow. After enjoying a wave of interest via their MySpace last summer, they began working with Quest Management (Bjork, Arcade Fire) in September of 2007 and signed to Almost Gold Recordings in November. In the U.K. alone, they’ve already garnered outstanding press from NME, performed on Later with Jools Holland and debuted on the sales charts at #11 with their first single. Their debut album Partie Traumatic was produced by Bernard Butler (legendary guitarist in The London Suede) who just recently won producer of the year at the Music Managers Forum.
