VPI 300RPM Motor Upgrade Kit for VPI Scoutmaster Turntable (12" Platter)

Specifically designed for the VPI Scoutmaster turntable with the 12" platter, the VPI 300RPM motor upgrade kit reduces motor vibration and noise for a smoother, richer, deeper analog presentation. The stock motor on the Scoutmaster runs at 600RPM. By contrast, this 300RPM motor kit slows the rotation to bring Scoutmaster's performance closer to Aries level. A custom-machined pulley is mounted to the motor and is larger than the stock pulley, allowing the motor to spin the platter at the perfect speed.

This kit includes a new motor, new capacitors, and a new pulley. Some assembly is required but is not difficult project and demands only modest technical ability.
