Description

Dramatically Improve Your System's Clarity, Soundstaging, and Openness with IsoAcoustics GAIA Speaker Isolators: Tuned and Optimized for Specific Weight Ranges, Easy to Install

What if you could dramatically improve your system's clarity, soundstaging, and openness – and significantly raise the performance of your floorstanding loudspeakers – simply by placing isolators underneath the speakers? Available for tower speakers weighing up to 220 pounds each, and tuned and optimized for three specified weight ranges, IsoAcoustics' GAIA Series of cast-metal isolators accomplish these feats and more.

Featuring a patented design to provide an extremely high degree of speaker isolation, the Stereophile Editors' Choice and Product of the Year (Accessory) Award-winning GAIA speaker isolators simultaneously resist lateral movement and oscillations while maintaining alignment with the listening position. By attenuating secondary internal reflections from hard support surfaces such as floors, GAIA prevents smearing and soundstage collapse – and effectively enhances transparency, openness, dimensionality, naturalism, and dynamics.

Installation is easy. Get the best-possible results by arranging GAIA with their logo facing the listening position, or rotated 180 degrees, to align the isolators with the speaker's motive forces. Then lift and place the speakers into position as the GAIA lower isolator will adhere to the supporting surface. All you need to do is select which GAIA model (see specs below, then select from our drop-down menu) you require based on your speakers' weight. Seriously incredible sonic improvements await.

"I spent an enormous amount of time determining which isolation racks, shelves, and footers work best for which components, trying almost everything from the sublimely cheap to the ridiculously expensive. In the process I came upon several high-priced, high-end isolation companies that I rely on for my reference system, but I have only one company to suggest to anyone just starting out or on a budget – IsoAcoustics."
– Matt Clott, The Absolute Sound, Golden Ear Award

"Typically, they have the effect of lowering the noise floor, improving soundstage focus and tightening up the bass. With a machined stainless steel housing finished in dark chrome, and able to support up to 100kg, the GAIAs look superb – and what they'll do to your music is magical."
– 2019-2020 EISA Award, Best Hi-Fi Upgrade

"I heard more of the music and less of the speaker. Not only that—instruments and voices were more precisely defined on the soundstage, which itself was wider and higher."
– Robert Deutsch, Stereophile, Product of the Year Award (Accessory)

"If you want to hear what your loudspeakers really sound like, put them on a set of these support feet. It's like your loudspeakers just got a significant upgrade!"
– Alan Sircom, Hi-Fi+

"The GAIA isolation feet provide significant improvements—including tighter, more impactful bass, improved precision of voice and instrument placement, and the creation of a wider, deeper, more three-dimensional soundstage. Speakers disappear from the room with the GAIAs in place, providing an experience that brings the listener closer to the original sound heard in the recording studio."
Bob Barnett, Home Theater Review

"The sound was clearer and smoother and altogether more like music than hi-fi. I have not looked back since."
Art Dudley, Stereophile

GAIA I is machined stainless-steel finished in stately dark chrome. Measuring 2.5 inches wide by 1.6 inches high, and capable of supporting 220 pounds, they are delivered in sets of four with alternative thread sizes (M12, M8, and ¼-20) to fit most speakers in this weight range. Optional adapter plates are available for B&W Nautilus and Diamond D1 & D2 speakers to replace the ball casters and spikes.

GAIA II is machined metal, measures 2 inches wide by 1.4 inches high, and is capable of supporting 120 pounds. The set of four comes with alternative thread sizes (M6, M8, and ¼-20) to fit most speakers in this weight range.

GAIA III is machined metal, measures 1.7 inches wide by 1.2 inches high, and is capable of supporting 70 pounds. The set of four comes with alternative thread sizes (M6, M8, and ¼-20) to fit most speakers in this weight range.

"Installing the GAIA isolators on my KEF Blades gave the biggest improvement in sound I have ever heard on the system. Better than changing cables or electronics, the noise floor was lower, the focus was better, and the bass went deeper. All around a total success."
– Harry Weisfeld, founder, VPI Industries

"After a few weeks of having [GAIA isolators] installed and putting them to the test during our most recent BSO recording at Symphony Hall, I continue to be impressed and amazed. We have them paired with the already phenomenal B&W 802D speakers – somehow, these isolators are able to make these truly amazing speakers sound even better!"
– Nick Squire, Head Recording Engineer, BSO
