Designed for use with the REL Serie HT MKI and MKII Series subwoofers, the HT-Air MKII wireless system allows you to transmit music or visual audio at 5.8 gigs — entirely free of digital compression — within seconds of plugging in the transmitter and receiver. An easy way to enjoy wide dynamics and arresting sound, HT-Air MKII delivers the highest performance for low-level (RCA-RCA) or LFE/.1 (single RCA) transmissions. To get started, just tap a button on the transmitter and, once it begins blinking, tap the matching button on the receiver. That’s it: HT-Air MKII comes with all the internal programming installed — REL’s own protocol — and doesn’t need conventional Wi-Fi.

Built to accommodate even those beefy, heavy cables without straining under their weight, HT-Air MKII takes the form of a cast acrylic case finished off with five coats of hand-applied acrylic lacquer. Inside, a third-gun 5.8GHz chip allows continuous real-time streaming of music and movies. Equipped with L-R stereo inputs and one .1/LFE input, HT-Air MKII can transmit rich sub-bass signals at least 40 feet and, in most cases, even further. Its response time? A mere 17 ms.
