Upgrade the Sound from Any DAC, Network Player, Disc Transport, or SACD/CD Player: TEAC CG-10M-X Master Clock Generator Delivers Ultra-High-Precision 10MHz Signal and Features High-End Build
A remarkable upgrade to any DAC, network player, disc transport, or SACD/CD player, the TEAC CG-10M-X master clock generator delivers a fantastically accurate clock signal to enhance the openness, accuracy, dynamics, naturalism, and fullness of any music you hear. This outboard component will get you closer to the ultimate in sound — particularly with DSD — by helping your digital device(s) more faithfully reproduce what’s on the recording.
Bolstered by a state-of-the-art oven-controlled crystal oscillator dubbed the TEAC Reference OXCO that reduces oscillation frequency fluctuations caused by temperature swings and thereby maintains everything at an ideal level, CG-10M-X offers a ultra-high-precision 10MHz clock signal within +/-3 ppb of frequency temperature characteristics and +/-0.1 ppm of frequency precision. Independent and isolated circuit architecture — from the power supply to the buffer amp at the output stage — prevents cross-interference in the event you connect multiple devices to any of the four gold-plated BNC connectors. And since a buffer amp is incorporated into each circuit, CG-10M-X ensures no signal waveform degradation occurs when the generated clock signal gets shared by said devices.
Other high-end elements in the 7.9-pound CG-10M-X extend to a high-capacity toroidal transformer for constant, stable current delivery, a front-panel-mounted oven-status gauge clock that invites you to monitor stability and ideal temperature conditions, and three-point support stressless feet that create a gap between each foot and the bottom chassis — and which remain utterly unaffected by external floor-borne vibrations. A semi-floating, screw-less top panel, aluminum panels, and robust metal chassis help complete an A4-sized 3.3 x 11.4 x 9.8-inch (HWD) device whose elegant appearance matches the beautiful sound it helps produce. And if you need further assurance about the quality of manufacturing and inspection, every CG-10M-X comes laser-engraved with a unique serial number and the TEAC Reference OCXO logo.
