Brawn on a Budget: Marantz MM7025 Power Amplifier Supplies a Robust 140 Watts Per Channel of Audiophile-Grade Sound
Equipped With Current-Feedback Circuitry Originally in Reference Series Components, Elegant Backlit Porthole
The MM7025 stereo power amplifier is Marantz quality at its affordable best. 140 watts per channel for under $800? Check. Built with circuitry originally chosen for the Reference Line? That too. This compact power amp plays with delicacy and drives with thunder. Did we mention the fashionable cool-blue, center-mounted backlit circle and attention-getting appearance? Rock on!
Revel In the Reference Series-Inspired Design
Originally developed for Reference Series amps, MM7025 uses current-feedback circuitry that gives this compact unit more power and cleaner sound into difficult loads than anything at this price should have. Marantz also selected specially designed LAPT Hyper-Power output transistors that deliver enormous power into virtually any load. Marantz also mounted the transistors in a forced-air “thermal tunnel" that allows MM7025 to keep its transistors at their optimum temperature regardless of load.
Savor The Gorgeous Appearance
Elegant and muscular, MM7025 boasts an aluminum and glass-reinforced resin composite faceplate with center-mounted backlit porthole from the Reference Series. Around back, Marantz chose four-way binding posts, switchable RCA and XLR inputs, and of course, a detachable IEC power cord.
