Made in Japan for VPI by Audio-Technica, the Goldy moving-coil phono cartridge uses the award winning AT-OC9 series as its baseline to acheive high-value performance distinguished with a natural midrange and detailed highs. Featuring the same internal and dampening modifications as the VPI Shyla model, Goldy employs a line contact stylus on a boron cantilever, aluminum body, brass terminal pins, and PCOCC wiring. Named after the VPI owners' second daughter, Goldy epitomizes the company's analog expertise and proud craftsmanship.
