Formula 15 is designed to be used as a pre-treatment quickly and easily chewing up release compounds, tar, nicotine, and all the other gunk that seems to accumulate on records. In fact, in most cases using Formula 15 just a few minutes prior to doing a full 3-Step cleaning will remove just about anything that is soluble very quickly, with minimum effort.
