It seamlessly mates with the optional JBL 240H height speakers to let you add Dolby Atmos to your system and includes dedicated Atmos five-way binding posts. A 2.5-way crossover adds to its might. Built with air-core inductors and mylar capacitors for ultra-low distortion in the hf section, and laminate-core inductors and electrolytic capacitors for fast speed in the lf section, this unique design crosses over the top woofer right below the tweeter’s output; the other woofer is crossed over at a lower frequency. The upshot: A punchy midrange that still permits each woofer great extension, and a cohesive, balanced output that ably serves anything you want to hear. Plus, dual racetrack flared rear-firing ports on reduce the velocity of the air emanating from the cabinet and help eliminate coloration.
