In addition to the MIE, KC92 boasts several other KEF hallmarks that go beyond its competitors and serve the sound. Namely, iiBX Intelligent Bass Extension creates an extended depth that unlocks the full potential of its custom drivers. By analyzing your input signal, iBX allows KC92 to play louder, remain dynamic at any listening level, and lower overall distortion. Equally effective, the patent-pending P-Flex Surround design resists acoustic pressure without compromising sensitivity. Stack up to three KEF KC92 subwoofers and combine them into the equivalent of a single, cohesive, vertical unit with the KSK92 subwoofer stacking kit. Providing easy installation via the threaded inserts on the rear plate of KC92 models, KSK92 gives you a veritable wall of sound that often leads to higher levels of output and performance without having to sacrifice valuable floor space. Stacking your KC92 subs can increase the maximum output by up to 9.5dB, the difference
in listening to a rock concert and hearing a jet plan take off from the runway. Each subwoofer can also be played at a lower level individually, offering enhanced dynamics and headroom
for dialed-in accuracy. The durable aluminum frames on KSK92 supply a sturdy foundation for your KC92s. A soft material layer that sits between each subwoofer prevents scratches and other cosmetic damage. KC92 features two nine-inch drivers derived from KEF’s flagship Blade speaker. Their hybrid structure, with a shallow, concave aluminum skin atop a paper cone, boasts a substantial motor system and a vented design in the voice coil. This design achieves linearity and vanishingly low distortion. With optimized excursion characteristics, KC92 achieves depths of 11Hz with fluidity and scale.
Power and Precision
