Stream Practically Everything in Audiophile Quality, Enjoy Wireless Freedom: KEF LSX II LT Bookshelf Speakers Feature Dedicated Amplifiers, Uni-Q Drivers, Versatile Connectivity
Get all the award-winning performance of the LSX II wireless bookshelf speakers for less in the form of the company’s LSX II LT. The handful of differences? LSX II LT requires a wired-only USB-C connection between the speakers; does not process MQA; and lacks an analog input, Roon-ready certification, and power supply on the secondary speaker. Save for a slightly smaller depth, everything else — the drivers, the system, all of the other inputs, and especially, the sound — is the same.
A convenient and smart all-in-one system with a built-in streamer, the 9.5 x 6.125 x 7.1-inch (HWD) LSX II LT offers a combined 200 watts of system power, compact form factor, versatile connectivity, and — most importantly — audiophile sonics. Equipped with there 11th generation of KEF’s signature Uni-Q driver technology, LSX II LT is anchored by a 0.75-inch vented aluminum dome tweeter and 4.5-inch magnesium/aluminum woofer — both of which are powered by their own dedicated amplifier.
Listening couldn’t be easier. Stream away via Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast (which also enable multi-room listening), or straight from your phone, tablet, or computer. Enjoy DSD and up to 24-bit/384kHz. LSX II LT is ready for it all, including TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify, Amazon Music, and more. Found on the right speaker, an HDMI ARC input links to your TV; a Toslink input welcomes CD and DVD players; an a USB-C input connects to computers and laptops. Want to add a subwoofer to the mix? A sub output makes that possible. You can even use a turntable with LSX II LT provided your ’table has a digital output or a D-to-A accessory.
Aesthetically, the bass-reflex cabinet and curved front baffle, along with the minimal matte tone-on-tone color choices, allow LSX II LT to look great. Seamless compatibility with the KEF Connect app and a supplied remote control let you take command no matter where you’re sitting. LSX II LT also effortlessly integrates with Elan, Crestron, Savant, and other home-control programs. KEF’s Music Integrity Engine, intuitive on-boarding setup, and a one-year manufacturer warranty round out a speaker that delivers size-belying clarity, definition, punch, and fun.

"Its slight understatedness actually serves almost every recording the system comes into contact with in a positive way. The ability to get out of the way of a recording is an underappreciated virtue in audio systems. However, this KEF is happy to let the music, rather than the electronics, do the talking. And it's not as sniffy as some when it comes to lower-resolution digital audio files, either."
