Immersive, Professional Sound You Can Feel: The SVS SB-1000 Pro Subwoofer Delivers Low Frequencies with Pristine Accuracy and Punch

With its fast attack, remarkable power, and amazing accuracy, the SVS SB-1000 Pro Subwoofer delivers breathtaking bass tones – all from a compact, 13-inch enclosure. The SB-1000 Pro Subwoofer can enable your home system to create a thoroughly convincing, immersive listening experience. The bass frequencies from your favorite album will rumble with dazzling potency and accuracy, generating a soundstage that will draw you into the essence of the music. With the SB-1000, the SVS audio engineers have achieved an elusive goal by designing a powerful, reasonably priced subwoofer capable of delivering professional-quality bass. And, of course, this subwoofer is engineered to seamlessly blend with the output of your system's full-range speakers.

The SVS engineers packed a high-excursion, 12-inch driver and dual ferrite motor assembly into an acoustically inert, sealed cabinet. This allows the SB-1000 to accurately deliver a range of low frequencies, even those below the threshold of audibility – where bass is only felt. A carefully designed, vented pole piece and efficient high-power voice coil keep the SB-1000 cool without impacting its performance. Multiple innovations have been introduced, all aimed at generating subterranean bass extension that is accurate and controlled.

Advances to the cone, surround, voice coil, and motor assembly maximize excursion for room-energizing SPLs at the lowest frequencies. Using reference amplifier technology from the flagship SVS16-Ultra Series, the SB-1000 Pro features a 325-watt RMS/820-watt peak power Sledge STA-325D amplifier with fully discrete MOSFET output. Harnessing the immense power while ensuring tonal accuracy and driver control is a 50 MHz Analog Devices Audio DSP with frequency response precisely tuned for the SB-1000 Pro.

The SB-1000 Pro also features the SVS subwoofer smartphone app, an ultra-convenient, ultra-precise way to control volume, access multiple DSP functions, and program custom presets. Music fans, gamers, and home-theater enthusiasts can adjust crossover frequencies, dial in three-band parametric EQ, tweak the polarity, room gain and more, all from a smartphone.

The three-band parametric EQ controller allows for precise adjustments for boost or cut, Q-factor, and frequency, down to the single Hz level, so users can customize the performance by eliminating peaks, nulls, and other room issues.

"Performance that beguiles in terms of speed, slam and depth, from a cabinet that measures barely bigger than the subwoofer's forward-facing 12-inch driver."
—EISA Award for 2021-2022, Best Buy Home Theater Subwoofer

"Thanks to their big, 12-inch drivers, DSP control and massive power amplifiers, SVS offers the easiest way to [get] big bass going."
TONE, 2021 Exceptional Value Award, SVS SB-1000 and PB-1000 subwoofers

"[The SB-1000 Pro and PB-1000 Pro] from subwoofer specialist SVS bring the company's best-in-class app control to an entry-level series. Which one to choose? The sealed SB-1000 Pro is the more compact design of the two ... while the ported PB-1000 Pro will deliver a bit extra extension. Wrapping up his review of the pair, David Vaughn concluded that he 'would easily recommend either model to anyone looking to get good bass on a budget.'"
Sound & Vision, 2021 Top Picks of the Year, Subwoofer category

"There are many [subwoofers] available that can thump, pump, and deliver the low frequency effects required when watching movies, and others that can handle the transients required to faithfully reproduce your favorite music in your home in a way intended by the musicians, producers, and mixers. But very few can deliver both. SVS's SB-1000 Pro and PB-1000 Pro subwoofers are among the elite few that can."
Home Theater Review

"Hundreds of hours spent putting both subwoofers through extensive listening, with many different speakers, proves them to be musical and of high quality. These are the easiest subwoofers to use on the market, and that's as fun as hi-fi gets. Grab a pair of SVS 1000 series subwoofers and be the fun guy to everyone, except maybe your downstairs neighbors."
—Jeff Dorgay, TONE, on the SVS SB-1000 and PB-1000 subwoofers

Sledge STA-325D Amplifier

Conservatively rated at 325 watts RMS, with 820+ watts peak power, the Sledge STA-325D amplifier maximizes the full potential of the 12-inch driver with effortless power and precise control. The innovative design combines the efficiency of a Class D amplifier with the ability to generate colossal current through the fully discrete MOSFETs for outstanding performance at all drive levels, in any room. This allows for seamless integration with practically any home theater or stereo speaker system.

Rear Panel Intelligent Control Interface

Rear-panel SVS Intelligent Control Interface (ICI) provides control options and connections for the subwoofer's most critical functions. This includes level control to fine-tune the overall output level that best matches the system and room. The low pass filter control ensures smooth sonic transitions and seamless blending with the main speakers. Phase control aligns the subwoofer's output timing with the main speakers or additional subwoofers.

The SB-1000 has a USB port, RCA audio interconnect input for use with most AV receivers and preamplifiers, and speaker level stereo inputs for use with older legacy receivers.

Sealed-Cabinet Design

Understated yet stylish, the acoustically optimized sealed cabinet features an extra-thick MDF front baffle and rigid internal bracing to create a resonance-free environment. Compact enough to fit in nearly any room or system, the SB-1000 Pro serves as a blank canvas for accurate subwoofer performance.
