Inside, a four-inch Klarity polypropylene mid/bass driver and one-inch textile-dome tweeter do the heavy lifting. This two-way vertical-channel model also utilizes a voice coil wound on a high-power epoxy/glass fiber bobbin — something not found in speakers in this price class — to eliminate eddy currents and provide excellent power handling. On the exterior, robust cabinets with Intelligent Spot Bracing help defeat unwanted resonances.
