And yet Super Denton still finds room to accommodate a 6.5-inch black woven Kevlar cone bass driver tuned to reach down to 40Hz — practically the epitome of “size-belying.”

In combination, the three neatly aligned and offset drivers operate with a smoothness and cohesion via a sophisticated crossover network complete with air-core coils and polypropylene capacitors in the midrange and treble circuits for distortion-free operation. You’ll experience detail and air from the highs; punch and detail from the mids; and tonal weight from the bass. Overall, Super Denton plays with absorbing clarity, balance, imaging, and finesse — true to British hi-fi convention. In addition to the center-offset tweeter — complete with a neodymium magnet system to enhance transient response and transparency— each Super Denton claims a two-inch soft-dome midrange housed in its own enclosure and 6.5-inch woven Kevlar woofer. The later is mounted in a die-cast chassis and further aided by an advanced magnet assembly to help provide impactful, controlled low-frequency extension. Working in concert, the combination of materials and isolation-based placement prevents distortion and captures the kind of nuances, textures, and harmonics that make music sound lifelike. Custom crossovers with air-core inductors and polypropylene capacitors further underline Super Denton’s audiophile-minded stature.
