"Who killed Laura Palmer?" is the question on everyone's lips in a secretive small town of Twin Peaks, but as eccentric FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) learns, the answer isn't easy. Music has always played a central role in David Lynch's work and it helped establish the haunting, dreamlike nature of the original television series Twin Peaks which premiered in 1990 and was followed by the feature film prequel, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me in 1992. The show's acclaimed score was composed by Angelo Badalamenti (who calls it "his defining work") in collaboration with Lynch and is anchored by the Grammy Award-winning "Twin Peaks Main Theme" which is inextricably linked to the original series and film.
