Deluxe 180g Vinyl 3LP Reissue featuring Complete Unedited Concert Recording!
Originally recorded at a homecoming gig at The Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow and released in 1994, Without The Aid Of A Safety Net served as Big Country's first ever live album. The set mixes tracks taken from their then recent studio album, The Buffalo Skinners ("Alone" and "Ships"), along with classic tracks from their back catalogue ("In A Big Country," "Look Away," "Fields Of Fire") plus two Neil Young covers ("Rockin' In The Free World" and "Hey, Hey, My My (Out Of The Blue)"). The original vinyl version of Without The Aid Of A Safety Net only had a limited pressing on one LP. This new deluxe version features the complete unedited concert recording split over three 180g vinyl discs for optimal sound quality and comes packaged in a tri-fold sleeve with liner notes written by guitarist Bruce Watson.
