9x Platinum 1991 Debut Back on Vinyl for the First Time in Over 20 Years!

Grammy Award winning act Boyz II Men holds the distinction of being the best-selling R&B group of all time, with an astounding 60 million albums sold. Their clean-cut "retro nouveau" image, synchronized dance routines, and polished stage act were key to their rapid rise to stardom. Between 1992 and 1997 alone, the group recorded five #1 pop hits and 12 Top 10 R&B singles. It all started with their breakout 1991 debut Cooleyhighharmony, a 9x Platinum-certified smash which introduced the group's "hip-hop doo-wop" sound to the masses with runaway hit singles like "Motownphilly" and "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday." In their 25th anniversary reassessment Billboard proclaimed that, "With its 1991 debut, the Philly foursome offered a sneak peek at what pop music was going to sound like for the next decade." In celebration of the classic album's silver anniversary, UMe will be reissuing the title back on vinyl for the first time in over two decades.
