Alongside the Queen of Salsa herself, the event featured legendary musicians like Johnny Pacheco, Tito Puente, and La India. The concert was broadcast by PBS, allowing audiences across the country to experience the electrifying performances.
The album went on to peak at #12 on the Billboard Tropical Albums chart and received a Latin Grammy Award for Best Salsa Album, in addition to being nominated for Tropical Album of the Year at the 2001 Lo Nuestro Awards.
