Stunts, Blunts and Hip Hop is the landmark 1992 debut from pioneering producer/MC Joseph Kirkland aka Diamond D (Lord Finesse, Fugees, Outkast, ADOR) who got his formal musical education under the tutelage of Universal Zulu Nation's DJ Jazzy Jay and broke out as a rapper via his guest appearance on A Tribe Called Quest's "Show Business." Featuring guest spots by Brand Nubian, Fat Joe, Fatman Scoop and Big L plus co-production from Large Professor, Q-Tip, Jazzy Jay, Showbiz and The 45 King, the underground masterpiece is home to the singles "Best-Kept Secret" and "Sally Got a One-Track Mind" and is chock full of dusty break-beats and street life narratives.
