Dokken's Tooth and Nail includes the hits "Alone Again" and "Into the Fire." The album reached #49 on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart and was certified Platinum in 1989.
Tooth and Nail combines the raw energy of hard rock with the polished production values typical of the glam metal genre. George Lynch's guitar work is a standout feature, with intricate solos and heavy riffs that drive the album's sound. Don Dokken's vocals are both powerful and melodic, fitting well with the band's dynamic approach. The album's title track, "Tooth and Nail," is a fast-paced, aggressive song that contrasts with the more melodic tracks, showcasing the band's versatility.
