Although Dr. Feelgood was formed in 1971 they didn't release their first single until 1974, and issued their debut album, Down by the Jetty, the following year. They were known as one of the defining bands in the so-called pub rock movement in the UK and bashed out some seriously bad-ass British R&B. The 1989 Liberty Records collection Singles - The U.A. Years is an encyclopedia of Dr. Feelgood's greatest moments for the United Artists label from 1976-1986 which not only saw the band's biggest commercial successes but also some of their most influential moments. The 26-track vinyl 2LP-set is anchored by hallmarks like "Milk and Alcohol," "Roxette," "Baby Jane," "She Does It Right," "Down At The Doctors" and "Back In The Night."
