Dustin O'Halloran's New Studio Album 1001 on LP.
On 1001, Dustin O‘Halloran contemplates ideas of technology and humanity entering the age of artificial intelligence - one of the most fundamental transformations in the history of mankind. Exploring the questions; what will distinguish humanity and technology in the future? How will this affect concepts like ‘love’ and the ‘soul’? He composed the work in four movements, based on a ballet first premiered in 2019 with dancer Fukiko Takase.
Spiritus Naturae Aeternus, which translates to “the eternal spirit of nature”, is the first single giving an impression of the album. Composed for female voices, solo violin, orchestral strings and piano, it sonically represents the beauty and chaos of nature.
