Eazy-E The Boyz-N-The Hood on 12" Vinyl
The Compton, CA ode "Boyz-N-the-Hood," is the iconic debut single by Eazy-E as a part of rap supergroup N.W.A. Ice Cube was just 17 years old when he wrote the revered track and took it to Eazy. A short time later, he and Cube formed N.W.A with Dr. Dre, and included the song on the N.W.A and the Posse album. Eazy released yet another version of the song the following year on his 1988 solo album, Eazy-Duz-It. The song's chorus truly says it all: "Coz The Boys In The Hood Are Always Hard / You Come Talkin That Trash, We'll Pull Ya Card / Knowin' Nutin In Life But To Be Legit / Don't Quote Me Boy Coz I Aint Said Shit." Continuing with its Respect The Classics campaign UMe will be reissuing the quintessential single back on 12" vinyl for the first time in years!
