2018 Remaster Pressed On 180g Double Vinyl LP
Recorded live at the Sydney Entertainment Centre in front of 11,000 strong on December 14, 1986 and originally released in 1987, this 14-track collection is broken into two sets; The first features Elton John and his 14-piece band, while the second features Elton, the band, and the 88-piece Melbourne Symphony Orchestra under the direction of former bandmate James Newton Howard. It was the last in a series of 27 performances covering all of Australia. The tour had begun in Brisbane and had played to capacity audiences everywhere including Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Featuring the worldwide smash single "Candle in the Wind" plus vibrant takes on beloved fare like "Tiny Dancer," "Your Song," "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word," and "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me," the album peaked at No. 24 on the Billboard Top 200 and has been certified platinum by the RIAA. Newly remastered in 2018 and pressed on 180g double vinyl.
