The second of four Elvis' Golden/Gold Records volumes, 50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong was originally released in November of 1959 by RCA just ahead of Presley's release from the army and features a compilation of The King's hit singles from 1958-1959 including the hard-rocking "I Need Your Love Tonight," "I Got Stung" and "A Big Hunk of Love." The album artwork, with multiple Elvis' clad in the gold lamé suit that Colonel Parker had made for him by Hollywood costumer to the stars Nudie has become one of rock ‘n' roll's enduring images and inspired similarly titled works from Rod Stewart, Elvis Costello, Blues Traveler, The Fall and Bon Jovi among others.
