Encore, released late in 2004, found Eminem reaching into more mature territory, notably on the anti-George W. Bush "Mosh," but for once most of the controversy generated by the album was for behind-the-scenes events: a bus crash followed by canceled dates and a stint in rehab. Featuring further fan favorites like "Mockingbird" and "Like Toy Soldiers" plus guest appearances by Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Nate Dogg, Obie Trice, Stat Quo and D12, the Grammy-nominated affair continued the Detroit rapper's No. 1 Billboard 200 streak and has been certified 5x Platinum. Recorded at the height of Eminem's drug addiction, Encore would be his last album for half a decade.
