Now available as a 10” vinyl reissue, Volume 1 features four cuts ("Room 608," "Creepin' In," "Doodlin'," "Stop Time") the Horace Silver Quintet - (Silver (piano), Kenny Dorham (trumpet), Hank Mobley (tenor saxophone), Doug Watkins (bass) and Art Blakey (drums)) - originally recorded for the Blue Note label in 1954.
