Back in Print for the First Time in Years with Newly Remastered Audio Personally Overseen by Jarvis Cocker Plus Bonus One-Sided 12"!
2009's Further Complications is Jarvis Cocker's second solo album, following the critically acclaimed 2006 Jarvis. While visiting the Windy City for the Pitchfork Music Festival, Jarvis and his band holed up in Steve Albini's Chicago studio, Electrical Audio to test out a couple new songs. They liked the sound, so the crew returned in January to record Further Complications. Though Jarvis claimed he hadn't "gone rock," hard-nosed studio rat Albini seemed like a fitting choice for the album, considering the increasingly roughed-up tunes Cocker had been peddling since parting with Pulp. Includes the incredible soul number "You're In My Eyes (Discosong)," "Angela", and the title track. Personally overseen by Jarvis Cocker, Further Complications has been newly remastered for this reissue which puts the album back in print on vinyl for the first time in years complete with a bonus 12-inch featuring "You're In My Eyes (Discosong)."
