Titled after the church the Antioch-native grew up attending, Jelly Roll's debut full-length country project on BMG/Stoney Creek Records features 13 tracks, including the single, "Need A Favor," which dictates "the internal fight between faith and vices" (American Songwriter). "This album is about growth and gratitude happening in my life. I wanted to create a project that felt hopeful. I believe the worst feeling a person can have is feeling hopeless or worthless. This is therapeutic music. Real music for real people with real problems," the multi-genre phenomenon shared.
"When it comes to music, Jelly Roll's heart is often right – singing with a profound amount of emotion and tact, the songs and their revealing lyrics soar to brilliantly uplifting heights, shining light onto some of life's darkest circumstances." – American Songwriter
"His music takes those raw, unreserved verses and melds elements of country, rock, and hip-hop into his own signature style." – Billboard
