2012's Key To The Kuffs found one of the world's best producers, Jneiro Jarel, teaming up with one of the world's best rappers, MF Doom. The long awaited collaborative album features production from Jarel on all tracks while Doom provides the bulk of the vocals and cut and paste skills. The release also boasts guest contributions from the likes of Damon Albarn (Blur, Goriilaz), Beth Gibbons (Portishead), Khujo (Goodie Mobb) and Boston Fielder among many others.

Key To The Kuffs followed-up Doom's 2009 solo album Born Like This. JJ's preceding production work included three track's for Damon Albarn's DRC music album Kinshasa One Two. JJ previously remixed Doom twice on his Gazzillion Ear EP and they recorded together on JJ's album Craft of the Lost Art.
