2022 Ten Bands Once Cause Pink Colored Vinyl Reissue
Ten Bands re-issue their albums on pink colored vinyl, all for one cause. 2022 marks the ninth year for the initiative that has raised close to $300,000 for Red Door Community, an organization that provides community support for both those diagnosed with cancer and their caretakers. This year's set includes releases by Nas, The Black Keys, Colter Wall, The Allman Brothers, Judah & The Lion, Senses Fail, The Bangles, Turnpike Troubadours, Jungle Fire and Badbadnotgood.
The Jungle Fire sound digs deep into Afro/Latin Funk with an approach that is authentic and highly explosive! The Los Angeles-based TropiFunk juggernaut pulls its influences from the music of legends such as Irakere, Ray Barretto, James Brown, Fela Kuti and Manu Dibango (just to name a few) while creating a melting pot of Afro-Caribbean and West African rhythms with a heavy break beat funk. In September 2014, the group's debut LP titled Tropicoso was released to great critical acclaim via Los Angeles' own Nacional Records.
