Kate Bush's Eighth Studio Album Aerial on 180g 2LP. Featuring New Lacquers Cut from the 2018 Remasters by Bernie Grundman and Overseen by Mastering Engineer James Guthrie. Pressed at Record Industry in the Netherlands.
Kate Bush and Fish People Records are proud and excited to announce new 2023 pressings of all 10 of Kate Bush's albums.
"It's very exciting to see people appreciating the physical presence of an album released on vinyl. It's how it's always been for me, especially when I was a teenager. The whole buzz of the record store was part of the experience. Buying an album was an event." - Kate Bush
The records are all pressed on 180g vinyl at the world-renowned Record Industry plant in the Netherlands. New lacquers were cut from the 2018 remasters by Bernie Grundman and overseen by mastering engineer James Guthrie.
Kate's first double album, Aerial, was released on November 7, 2005 and reached No. 3 in the UK album chart. As with 1985's Hounds of Love, the album is split into two sections. The first disc, subtitled "A Sea of Honey" and the second "A Sky of Hone." The album sold more than 90,000 copies in its first week of release and has now been certified as platinum by the British Phonographic Industry.
