Disco is the fifteenth studio album from Australian pop star Kylie Minogue and follow-up to 2018's Golden which hit No. 1 in both the UK and Australia. BMG's president Alistair Norbury revealed that Minogue was taking a more hands-on approach to the production side of her new record, even learning to use Logic as well as engineering and recording her own vocals. Produced by long-time collaborator Biff Stannard, the disco-tinged lead single "Say Something" features particularly poignant lyrics for 2020's world: "We're a million miles apart in a thousand ways...Love is love it never ends, can we all be as one again?" The Telegraph proclaimed that, "Kylie's disco revival is just what the nation needs."
