Mac Miller’s landmark seventh mixtape, Macadelic, was originally released as a free download in 2012. Featuring the hit single, “Loud,” which reached #53 on the Billboard Hot 100. The mixtape boasts features from Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Joey Bada$$, Sir Michael Rocks, Cam'ron, and Juicy J. It found Miller attempting to "stop thinking about what kind of music [he] should make and just start saying what [he] wanted to say." Medium wrote that "...Mac Miller's dark side made its grand entrance on Macadelic – a side that he would torturously grapple with for the rest of his short life and a part of himself that could be thrilling to get lost into as a listener one moment and the next made itself known in sober existential reflections." Macadelic was later remastered and released commercially in 2018 by Rostrum Records. 2 LP set on colored vinyl.
