Peaking at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Charts and topping the charts in nine other countries, American Life is a loose-based concept album built around recurring themes of the "American Dream" and "materialism." In addition to the singles "American Life," "Hollywood," and "Love Profusion," the album also features the smash hit "Die Another Day," the theme song from the James Bond film of the same name which received two Grammy nominations for 'Best Short Form Music Video' and 'Best Dance Recording.'
