The Matrix was a billion dollar franchise, and Don Davis' epic and iconic scores propelled the visionary story forward across three beloved films. With news that The Matrix will be returning for a fourth installment in 2021, Warner Bros. offers vinyl reissues of the soundtracks to the first three films. 2003's Matrix Reloaded is the second installment in the Matrix trilogy to date and finds the crew tasked with protecting Zion, the last outpost still under human control, after it is pinpointed by the machines responsible for the Matrix. In addition to signature pieces from Davis, Matrix Reloaded: Music From and Inspired by the Motion Picture includes contributions by Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Deftones, P.O.D. and Rage Against The Machine among others.
