Description

Nick Mason's (Pink Floyd) 1981 Debut Solo Album Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports on LP.  Includes Collaborations With Robert Wyatt and Carla Bley. Reissued for the First Time on Vinyl.

Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports is Nick's debut solo album and his first work outside of Pink Floyd. Originally released in 1981, it saw him collaborate with a variety of different musicians including Robert Wyatt and Carla Bley. The album was recorded in 1979 at a session booked in America where Nick, Carla and Robert were going to bring their ideas together, but ahead of the trip, Carla sent Nick a demo cassette…"It was very different from what she had done before and absolutely in line with what I like," commented Nick in 2012… and it went on to be the nucleus of the album.
