Paramore Paramore: 10th Anniversary Edition on 2LP
Celebrate 10 years of Paramore's self-titled album with this Black 2xLP vinyl reissue.
Paramore's fourth full-length studio recording, was produced by Grammy-nominated producer Justin Meldal-Johnson, known for his work with such diverse artists as Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Tegan and Sara, and M83. The first single from Paramore is entitled "Now."
"The whole making of this album was a rediscovering of ourselves as a band and as friends," the band explained. "It was a process that allowed us the freedom to explore new territory artistically and to liberate ourselves as musicians, singers, as people! Sincerely, we feel that the best way to give it a name is just to call it what it is. This album is us."
Paramore's previous release, Brand New Eyes, officially established Paramore as one of the most popular and significant bands of the modern era. Produced by Grammy Award-winner Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Kid Rock, My Chemical Romance) and co-produced by the band, the album entered the SoundScan/Billboard 200 album chart at #2, logging the biggest first-week sales of Fueled By Ramen's history at that date. The album also proved an international phenomenon, entering the album charts at #1 in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK as well as #2 in Mexico and #3 in Canada.
Album track, "The Only Exception" received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals while the New York Times' Jon Pareles praised Brand New Eyes for "broad(ening) the band's dynamics without sacrificing momentum," commending Paramore for "as skillfully as any band around, merging drive and detail."
