White City: A Novel, saw Pete Townshend return to the concept-based song cycle that had been so successful for him with The Who. Released in 1985, the album told the story of life on a working-class council estate in Townshend’s old West London stomping ground. The songs deal with lost love, racial tension and broken dreams.
Featuring the singles “Give Blood” and “Face The Face.” Available on 180g vinyl, mastered by Jon Astley and cut at half speed by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. Packaged in original sleeve with obi strip and a certificate of authenticity included.
