Good God's Urge is the ethereal second and final studio release to date from Porno For Pyros, the arty, post-punk band formed in 1992 by Jane's Addiction members Perry Farrell and Stephen Perkins in the wake of their first break up in late 1991. The underrated album follows-up their well received eponymous 1993 debut and its hit single "Pets" and features performances by legendary bassists Mike Watt and Flea, as well as Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro. Home to the sublime single "Tahitian Moon," the 1996 album was never released on vinyl, making this the first ever commercial pressing.
