Scorpions' 1990 effort Crazy World was the band's first album in a decade and a half not produced by Dieter Dierks as the group co-produced the record with Keith Olsen (Fleetwood Mac, Santana, Grateful Dead). It shot to double platinum status nonetheless with the slow burning worldwide hit "Wind Of Change" soundtracking the collapse of the Soviet Communist regime. From powerful vocals to searing guitars to thundering bass and drums, Crazy World showcases Scorpions' enduring talent for raising the roof and then captivating the heart within minutes, and was the last album to feature the "classic" line up of Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker, Matthias Jabs, Herman Rarebell and Francis Buchholz.
