First Album as a Duo Following Janet Weiss' Departure!
Sleater-Kinney's tenth studio album, Path of Wellness was recorded in Portland, Oregon during the summer of 2020 – against a backdrop of social unrest, devastating wildfires, and a raging pandemic. Following up 2019's The Center Won't Hold, it's music for an imagined togetherness. This marks the first Sleater-Kinney album produced by the band members themselves (Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker) as well as the first as a duo following drummer Janet Weiss' departure who is replaced here by local Washington musicians. The 10-track collection is ushered in by the funky love song "Worry With You."
