1976's Regeneration, an African-influenced jazz infused pop affair from Stanley Cowell, is a highly regarded and incredibly sought after masterpiece from the legendary Strata East catalogue expertly remastered by Ray Staff at Air Mastering in Lyndhurst Hall, London and pressed on 180g vinyl at Pallas. Recorded in 1975 with co-production coming courtesy of Viki McLaughlin, the spiritual and diverse seven-track collection is one of Cowell's few with a larger ensemble and it wears its entertaining genre-jumping Stevie Wonder influence admirably on its sleeve.
