The Doors The Doors on 180g 45RPM 2LP: Mastered by Doug Sax on an All-Tube System and Overseen by Band Producer/Engineer Bruce Botnick
The Doors exploded onto the music scene in 1967 with their epic self-titled debut, introducing the world to their unique blend of rock, blues, jazz and flamenco styles arranged around Jim Morrison's deep resonate voice and poetic lyrics. The Doors is widely considered the band's masterwork and one of the best debuts of all time, featuring some of their most beloved songs including "Break On Through (To The Other Side)," "Light My Fire," "Back Door Man" and "The End."
Analogue Productions presents The Doors on 180g 45RPM 2LP, made from the best tape copy available and pressed at QRP. Doug Sax and the Doors producer/engineer Bruce Botnick have gone through a meticulous setup to guarantee a positively stunning reissue series. These masters were recorded on all-tube equipment, and the tape machine used for the transfer of these releases is also a tube machine, as is the cutting system.
