The two Marshall Tucker Band albums, 1973's self-titled and 1974's A New Life, firmly established the group as one of the world's premiere Southern rock bands. The recordings include no less than eight of their biggest hits between them and are directly responsible for catapulting the band to the world stage for decades to follow.

Now the two classics are available for the first time on vinyl since the '80s, remastered on 180g LP with special gatefold packaging plus previously unavailable live bonus tracks and digital download cards.
Eight months removed from their debut and after extensive touring with the Allman Brothers Band, The Marshall Tucker Band released their follow-up A New Life. The gold album included "24 Hours At A Time" and "Blue Ridge Mountain Sky" and cemented the band as one of music's leading lights.
"The buying public never really cared whether we were country or rock and roll" says founding member Doug Gray. "They called us a Southern rock band, but we have always played everything from country to blues and all things in-between."
