Call To Confirm Colored Copies Are Still Available
The Offspring's metal-inflected punk became a sensation in 1994 when their third album Smash sold over four million albums on an independent label. While the group's credentials and approach follow the indie rock tradition of the '80s, sonically they sound more like an edgy, hard-driving heavy metal band, with their precise, pulsing power chords and Dexter Holland's flat vocals.
Platinum certified follow-up Ixnay on the Hombre, was issued in 1997 on major label Columbia Records complete with stellar production courtesy of the great Dave Jerden (Jane's Addiction, Alice in Chains). Their fourth album overall, the intense and infectious 14-track effort sold more than three million copies worldwide and peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, with the three singles "All I Want," "Gone Away," and "I Choose" all hitting the Modern Rock charts.
Round Hill Music presents a 20th Anniversary edition of Ixnay On The Hombre on colored 2LP-set housed in a textured jacked with gold foil print, matte custom printed sleeve, and a heavyweight insert printed with gold foil and suitable for framing.
