Writing songs that proudly bear a brazen, unabashed attitude combined with a pop aesthetic reminiscent of 50s and 60s acts, LA-based The Regrettes have a knack for writing infectious, punk driven tracks. From the opening moments on their full-length debut Feel Your Feelings Fool! we're greeted with a wall of guitars, catchy melodies and an "I-don't-give-a-fuck" attitude that continues right until the final notes of the album. From the feminist anthem "A Living Human Girl," to the quieter, at times shoegazey moments of "Bronze" and the nostalgic surf-rock vibes of "Hey Now," each track is essentially a diary entry into 16 year old frontwoman Lydia Night's youthful yet determined life.
