Remastered and Cut at Half-Speed at Abbey Road Studios from Vinyl Specific Original Tape Transfers!
Possibly the most underrated album of the Rolling Stones' trailblazing career, 1986's Dirty Work finds the band at its rawest and most rhythmically charged, a reflection of the tumult within the band when it was recorded. Produced by Steve Lillywhite, it was the Stones' first under their new contract with CBS Records and the first time since the band's earliest days that the album's lead single was not a Jagger/Richards composition. It was a cover of Bob & Earl's R&B classic "Harlem Shuffle" that was originally from 1963. Featuring fellow single "One Hit (To The Body)," plus guest appearances by Bobby Womack, Tom Waits and Jimmy Page, true Stones fans have long worn their appreciation of Dirty Work as a hip badge of honor. Remastered and cut at revelatory Half-Speed at Abbey Road Studios from vinyl specific original tape transfers designed to get the very best possible sound from the format.
